Analysis of my webpage


Navigation –The website is really aesy to navigate around as the buttons are ta the to therefore is is easily accessible to the audience.

Primary Target Audience - psychographic target audience segmentation identifies our primary target audience as reformers the website is very simple and isn't glorified by fashion which highlights the fact about the audience being simplistic and also unfazed by status. 

Landing Pages - the landing pages of all the links have the same mode address as the front page.

Splash Page – I didn’t include a splash page this allows the audience to focus more on the artist.


Banner- as we are an independent artist there is no banner at the top of our page and this also maintains the focus of the audience on the band members.


Sky Scraper- we didn’t include any adverts here either this centralizes the music of the artist. 


Body Copy – adapting a simplistic synergy the writing is also very simple and pain. This is attractive to our audience because nothing is really over exaggerated but plain and simple it makes them seem more professional. The webpage is also dominated with information about the band and not much about the artist, which focuses the idea that the music is the product that we would like to sell.

The Hero Shot- the hero shot of the band is simply the logo, which is their name and also the cover of the album cover. 


Jump Pages- there are no jump pages on the sites which aim to advertise any other company which further reinforce the ideas of the independence of the band. 


Button- the button on the pages are very easy to find sitting at the top and very self explanatory therefore its really easy for the audience to navigate around the website. 

Prominence- generally prominence isn't used however the use of the title and the image in the middle allows prominence because it draws the audience attention to the name of the band and the album cover. 


Use Of Fonts- the website uses very similar conventions of text plain simple times new roman which is recognizable by everyone. 


Genre And Web Page- the use of iconography allows the audience to easily identify the genre of the band as being indie alternative. 


Use Of Color- the colors are very synergistic and enforce the genre of the bands. I maintained the color across all platforms of our product.


White Space- the website as a lot of white space which makes the website easy to navigate and also less clustered. 


Mode Of Address- the media text is very simple which speaks a simplistic message to its audience.
