Band name idea – The Lost Boys

Pitch idea 1

Idea– wild imagination

My first idea is based on a male character that doesn’t really fit in due to his wild imagination. He always dreams of finding another world and fantasizes about the more than ordinary. He feels that people from the other world are giving him messages for him to find them everywhere he goes he connotes glimpses of text (news papers, posters) messages from another dimension telling him to find them

However imagination leaves him as an outsider and people think he’s mad. In class he daydreams and is told to get professional help.

But at the end when everyone isolates him he really does discover a world of more than the ordinary with people with masks.

The aspect of performance would be in a dark room where the band is in and the room is slowly lit up with lights as the narrative gradually builds

a few shaky effect with the camera work to hilight confusion.

Pitch idea 2

Idea-isolation

Main character of guy who seems to always be isolated though he’s surrounded around a lot of people. Everyone all appears as a blur.

He always seems to be working in his own space of time, everyone else around him is working fast and time goes past but he always seems to be lost.

He realizes that this place isn’t for him and he tries to find somewhere he fits in - the alternative he finds is the band who welcome him with open hands as they all fantasize in the idea of being lost in space and understand each other.

This idea doesn’t have a strict narrative but rather focuses mainly and more on the performance of the band.

All band members live differently till in school or at work however they don’t seem content with the way of life. As the song gradually builds up however they find themselves and seem happier when playing music together.
